My name is Nicholas Gray, I am 27 years old and I am happily Married to a beautiful woman who, for whatever reason, puts up with this blogging addiction of mine. I have been blogging since July 2005 and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon, or at all for that matter.

Blog Stuff
Essential Shift is a personal blog where I write about my journey as a follower of Christ. I am hosted on ASO and this site is built with Wordpress, my CMS of choice. I am currently using a modified version of DePo Skinny by Derek Powazek.
God Stuff
I am a follower of Christ. I am a member of New Hope Community Church in Villa Park. I believe God has given me a talent, and I plan on using it to it’s fullest potential. Much of what you find on this site is a reflection of my beliefs and relationship with God.
